Hawks, Mother Nature dominate Niners

The Seahawks hosted their division rivals San Francisco 49ers to kick off their home season on Sunday nights. There were several sub-plots going into this game and it was being hyped as the game of the year even though it was only the second game of the season. It was an uneventful first quarter until lightning entered the area causing an almost hour weather delay but once the teams came back out on the field, only one team really showed back up. The Seahawks dominated the game after that, cruising to a 29-3 win over the Niners. Marshawn Lynch led the way with two rushing touchdowns and one receiving. The Defense came up huge with 3 picks on Collin Kaepernick. The Seahawks fans also had a victory Sunday night, breaking the world record for loudest stadium. Luckily, I remembered my earplugs so my ears aren’t ringing today!
