It was a cold, wet and foggy afternoon in Pullman as the USC Trojans rolled into town and thumped the Cougars 44-17. The low light of the game was when WSU Quarterback Conner Halliday was knocked out of the game with a broken leg that ended his senior season. Halliday was currently the nation’s passing yardage leader. Sad to see his college career end this way. It was also the first trip back to the state of Washington for USC head coach Steve Sarkisian who left the Washington Huskies to take the job with the Trojans.
