Walter Jones officially called it quits today after a 13 year career with the Seahawks as arguably one of the best offensive linemen to play the game.

Here’s a fun piece that I put together with shots of all the helmets of teams that I have shot over the past few years. It sure looks like a lot when you get them all together like this. You will see the black and white version below. It’s funny how they all blend together when you take out all of the colors that make them distinctive and iconic. You can see the color version and see the difference for yourself. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph all these teams over the past few years for Lindy’s Sports Annuals and hope to do it for several more years.

This past Sunday’s game against the Jets with the final home game for Mike Holmgren as head coach of the Seahawks. It was a great game to shoot because of the snowy conditions we have had here the past week or so in Seattle. Plus having Brett Favre in town made for a pretty special day. Over the Thanksgiving break I went to the Turkey Bowl that benefits Whisker City. It was alot of fun and I actually didn’t bowl too bed for not having played for a year. One of the local celebrities there was Shelly from the Sea Gals.
