In what was the biggest game in Husky Stadium in over a decade, the Dawgs dominated the visiting 7th ranked Stanford Cardinal. The stadium was packed with over 72,000 fans and it was easily as loud as and Seahawks game. The Huskies jumped out early and often on their way to a 44-6 beatdown. This will definitely bump the Dawgs up in the rankings.
The Washington Huskies welcomed the Portland State Vikings into town last Saturday for their last tune up game before conference play starts on the road next week in Tucson. The Huskies put up 4 touchdowns in the first half on their way to a 41-3 victory. The next time the Huskies will be home is their Friday night matchup against Stanford, when Mountlake will be the center of the college football world for that night.
It was a beautiful early fall day at Husky Stadium as the 8th ranked Huskies welcomed the Idaho Vandals from the Sun Belt Conference. This one wasn’t expected to be close, and it lived up to the promise. The Huskies pummeled Idaho 59-13. Jake Browning had 5 touchdown passes and the defense was stellar as usual.
