On a day where the NFL was honoring US Veterans across the league, the Jets came into Seattle trying to save their season but ended up getting pummeled by the Seahawks 28-7. I got to see first hand “Tebow-mania” in action. It was really bizarre how the stadium was buzzing every time he entered the game. Neither him or Mark Sanchez could get the offense going however. Marshawn Lynch had a big game with 124 and going over the 1,000 yard mark for the season.

It’s that time of year again when all of the football preview magazines start hitting the shelves. and like every other year, Lindy’s continues to put out the best books available. They have great writing and the best use of photos of any of the others out there. Here are 3 covers that I have photos on this year.

I meant to post these a while back, but during the halftime of the Seahawks – Ravens game, there were wiener-dog races. They are tough little guys to keep in focus, but I found a few that I liked. Enjoy.

Ray Lewis and the Ravens came into Seattle probably thinking that they were going to take care of business and head back east, but that just wasn’t going to be the case. The Seahawks put together one of their most complete games of the season on both sides of the ball and handed the Ravens a 22-17 loss. Marshawn Lynch had a Beast of a day with 167 hard-faught total yards and a touchdown.

This game had just about everything. As soon as ball was kicked off to start the game it started to downpour for about 10 minutes and then the skies opened up and it ended up being a beautiful day. The bright sun made for some challenging light in Seahawks Stadium, Qwest Field, CenturyLink Field. It wasn’t a pretty game for either team but the Seahawks made plays when they had to and pulled out the victory 13-10 for their first win of the season.

This season’s Lindy’s Annuals are hitting the shelves now. My photos appear on three covers this year, the National College Pacific Northwest edition as well as the Pro Seattle and San Francisco/Oakland/San Diego edition. It has been a great experience to shoot for Lindy’s for the past several years.

The AFC West leading Chiefs came into Seattle and dominated the Seahawks on Sunday 42-24. Dwayne Bowe had three touchdown receptions and Jamaal Charles rushed for 173 yards. The loss bumped the Seahawks back into a tie with St.Louis for first place in the NFC West. From a photography perspective, it was a great game to shoot because there was decent light and the red Chiefs uniforms really popped with all of the dark blue throughout Qwest Field.

Here’s a fun piece that I put together with shots of all the helmets of teams that I have shot over the past few years. It sure looks like a lot when you get them all together like this. You will see the black and white version below. It’s funny how they all blend together when you take out all of the colors that make them distinctive and iconic. You can see the color version and see the difference for yourself. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph all these teams over the past few years for Lindy’s Sports Annuals and hope to do it for several more years.
